Your opportunity  

This role is all about enabling success on the ground. As part of the Farmer Events Team, you’ll be the go-to for regional and farmer-facing staff—coordinating events, keeping our customer data sharp, and partnering widely to bring engagement plans to life. It’s a great opportunity to build strong relationships, support the dairy sector, and contribute to a better future for New Zealand farmers.?This role can be based out of our Newstead office, however will require the ability to travel within the North Island.  

This is a 12-month fixed term role to cover parental leave.  

Key responsibilities include: 

• Coordinate regional events 

• Deliver high quality events support 

• Provide high-quality administrative support 

• Build and manager strong relationship 

• Champion the use DairyNZ’s CRM systems 

About you  

You will be a go-to person that relates well with all kinds of people, solution focussed you will be able to make great decisions under tight deadlines and have exceptional administration experience and an understanding of event coordination and marketing principles. 

Self-sufficient and self-motivated with an eye for detail and accuracy that is at a high standard. 

You will have 3-5 years office administration experience with a high level of computer literacy including data entry and database management.   

A tertiary qualification and knowledge of New Zealand Dairy Industry isn’t essential but would be a bonus!
