As our Event Marketing Specialist, you will support the promotion and delivery of business, national and multi-region events that showcase the value of levy investment, share progress in science and research, and create high-quality audience experiences.
Working closely with the National Business Events Manager and teams across DairyNZ, you will design and coordinate timely event marketing, and help ensure every touchpoint is consistent with our brand and event experience standards. You will combine strong organisation with audience-focused communications to build awareness, encourage attendance and support meaningful follow-up after events.
In this role, you will:
- Plan and deliver event marketing activity that builds awareness and supports attendance at corporate, national and multi-region events.
- Develop clear, audience-focused event communications and promotional content across relevant channels.
- Work with internal subject matter experts, regional teams and event partners to coordinate event promotion and delivery.
- Ensure event marketing and communications align with DairyNZ brand standards, agreed frameworks and audience needs.
- Maintain accurate registration and attendance information to enable reporting and follow-up communication.
- Lead development of event marketing and communication frameworks and tools for Event Partners in the regions to execute.
- Support post-event evaluation and use audience insights and data to improve future event marketing and experiences.
Contribute to a connected community of event practitioners and share practical tools, templates and good practice.
About you

You bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with a wide range of stakeholders. We’d love to hear from you if you have:

- Experience working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, suppliers or delivery partners.
- Confidence coordinating event registrations, attendee communications and data accurately.
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to use feedback and insights to improve future activity.
